Dreams
Each and evryone of us experience dreaming. And in dreams different things, creatures, and situations appear that sometimes we could hardly explain why we dream those. Others believe each dream means something and somewhat relevant to that person's future or even current situation.
I had a dream last week that bothered me and it made me wonder why did I have such dream and what this dream signifies. Thru the internet, I was able to visit a certain site that has this dream dictionary. It somewhat tries to explain these creatures, situations or things we see in our dream signifies.
In my dream, i was bleeding (wounds). I could see some dead people. Reptiles appeared too - snakes out numbered the others. A dragon appeared too. Heheheh. Somewhat mystical ei? Hehehe. And last, I saw myself running. For me it was an unusual ang weird dream. But let me share what it means based on the dream dictionary where i found.
Dragon
To see a dragon in your dream, signifies that you tend to let yourself get carried away by your passion. This kind of behavior may lead you into trouble. You need to exercise some self-control.
In the eastern cultures, dragons are seen as spiritual creatures symbolizing good luck and fortune.
To dream that you are a dragon and breathing fire and everyone, suggests that you are using your anger to get your own way.
Reptile
To see a reptile in your dream, symbolizes your basic urges, instinctual nature or suppressed sexual desires.
Blood
To see blood in your dream, represents life, love, and passion as well as disappointments. If you see the word "blood" written in your dream, then it may refer to some situation in your life that is permanent and cannot be changed.
To dream that you are bleeding or losing blood, signifies that you are suffering from exhaustion or that you are feeling emotionally drained. It may also denote bitter confrontations between you and your friends. Your past actions has come back to haunt you. Women often dream of blood or of someone bleeding shortly before or during their periods and when they are pregnant.
To dream that something is written in blood, represents the energy you have put into a project. You have invested so much effort into something that you are not willing to give it up.
To dream that you are drinking blood, indicates that you have a fresh burst of vitality and power.
Runaway
To dream that you are a runaway, indicates that you are dealing with issues of belonging and acceptance.
Running
To dream that you are running away from someone, indicates an issue that you are trying to avoid. You are not taking or accepting responsibility for your actions. In particular, if you are running from an attacker or any danger, then it suggests that you are not facing and confronting your fears.
To dream that you are trying to run but cannot make your feet move as fast as you want them to, signifies lack of self-esteem and self-confidence. It may also reflect your actual state of REM paralysis while in the dream state.
To dream that you are running alone, signifies that you will advance to a higher position and surpass your friends in the race for wealth. Alternatively, you may be running from some situation or from temptation.
To dream that you are running with others, signifies festive and prosperous times.
Die
To dream that you die in your dream, symbolizes inner changes, transformation, self-discovery and positive development that is happening within you or in your life. Although such a dreams may bring about feelings of fear and anxiety, it is no cause for alarm and is often considered a positive symbol. Dreams of experiencing your own death usually means that big changes are ahead for you. You are moving on to new beginnings and leaving the past behind. These changes does not necessarily imply a negative turn of events. Metaphorically, dying can be seen as an end or a termination to your old ways and habits. So, dying does not always mean a physical death, but an ending of something.
On a negative note, to dream that you die may represent involvement in deeply painful relationships or unhealthy, destructive behaviors. You may feeling depressed or feel strangled by a situation or person in your waking life. Perhaps your mind is preoccupied with someone who is terminally ill or dying. Alternatively, you may be trying to get out of some obligation, responsibility or other situation.
To see someone dying in your dream, signifies that your feelings for that person are dead or that a significant change/loss is occurring in your relationship with that person. Alternatively, you may want to repress that aspect of yourself that is represented by the dying person.
Death
To dream about the death of a loved one, suggests that you are lacking a certain aspect or quality that the loved one embodies. Ask yourself what makes this person special or what do you like about him. It is that very quality that you are lacking in your own relationship or circumstances. Alternatively, it indicates that whatever that person represents has no part in your own life.
To dream of your own death, indicates a transitional phase in your life. You are becoming more enlightened or spiritual. Alternatively, you are trying desperately to escape the demands of your daily life.
