Happy Birthday
So far this year (2007) is my memorable birthday celebration. I was able to celebrate my birthday with Jay Justiniani in Hot City during their mini-concert/show here in Guam.
The group (Cueshe) and some companions, with the owner of the bar where they perform, ate lunch at the buffet resto in the hotel where i am currently working. I was so shy and hesitant to chitchat with them, but finally got a little courage to do so. But still not enough. Hehehe. I greeted Jay happy bday and he greeted me too (plus a kiss! ^_^). We had a short chitchat but it was fine. They are so kind, friendly and quite funny guys. Before they left they asked us if we are going to watch their show that night (last night), and I said yes 'coz we really are.
And last night was really a hit! I'm happy that Jay still remembered me (by name to be exact). Heheheh. I thought he already forgot. When the people sang "Happy Birthday" for Jay during the band's break after their 1st round of performance, he shouted that it is also my birthday. I'm flattered when he did that. *blush*
It was also funny while they were performing, because it "seemed" like Jay and I knew each other for so long (barkada). We even stare at each other for quite long (like trying to talk eye to eye) hehehe. He also got the chance to scold me because i think he caught me a couple of times looking at Ruben. Hahaha. Because there are times that when he tries to make eye contact with me again I always move my eyes to where Ruben is. Hahahah!!! So embarassing. I just made a sign to Jay to keep quiet. My actual action was like when you try to tell someone this, "shhhh".
I have no regrets that I went home almost 3 am already because I really enjoyed the show. Same as to my companions, they said they did really enjoyed it. Ofcourse, I didn't miss to take pictures and videos during the show. What I regret is me being the "shy" type again. The chance was already there (take pictures as in UPCLOSE and just me and them during the time they were at the resto. *deep sigh*) but still i didn't grab it.
Oh my, hope they come back and hope they would still remember me or US (my co-workers and friends). I won't forget this experience. ^_^
